From tideline to alpine, almost all of our adventures lead us into cold, wet and stormy conditions—which are exactly where high-pile Sherpa wool excels. To make an all-weather insulating hoody for everyday or far away, we sourced a soft, warm and movement-friendly recycled wool blend. The breathability and temperature regulation of the thick-knit wool—which synthetic fleeces attempt to imitate—give it exceptional comfort and performance when worn on its own or as a midlayer under a shell, and the Melton-lined hood keeps the wind at bay. A fleece storm flap offers extra warmth, while our unique production process with no added dyes helps further reduce environmental impact.

• Thick-knit, 17-oz (580 GSM) 80% recycled wool/20% nylon high-pile fleece is soft, stretchy and naturally insulating; hood is lined with warm 80% post-consumer recycled/20% nylon Melton wool
• Colours come from the original source garments; dye-free process saves water and eliminates harmful chemical dyes
• Full-zip front with higher collar and roomy hood; fleece storm flap behind the zipper provides extra warmth and wind protection
• Two kangaroo handwarmer pockets; zippered interior pocket keeps small valuables secure
• Stretch binding at cuffs and hem; hang loop on inside back collar
